Toys for Tots Drive 2021
This holiday season Pegasus had the opportunity to participate in the annual Toys for Tots drive. For a few weeks, our San Diego headquarters and Long Beach office had Toys for Tots boxes that our team filled with toys. Our team was motivated to get as many toys to children this Christmas. Dianne Moore (Director of Training and Development), Diana Lopez (Director of HR) and Ricardo Maggin (Field Safety Representative) made some travels to gather the filled boxes and deliver them to the Navy Operational Support Center in San Diego. Margarita Pankratz (Operations Supervisor), Rene Rios (Corporate Trainer), Irma Rehberg (HR Assistant), Christina Munoz (Customer Service) and Ricardo Maggin spent their day lending a hand by sorting toys at the center on December 15, 2021.
Pegasus takes great pleasure in giving back to the community and is grateful for the ability to do so continuously. Any time we have the chance to help someone else, whether it is the community or our front liners, we take it. Our employees bring us so much talent and value, so we prioritize showing them gratitude and uplifting their communities.
On November 10, Pegasus had their annual Turkey Day, where we delivered about one thousand turkeys, one for each employee. On December 10, every employee was given a gray, Pegasus fleece jacket as a token of appreciation for their hard work year-round. It’s so great to see photos of happy employees from all of our regions, but it is most wonderful to know we are contributing to the warmth and family dinner table of those who make us who we are through their dedication.
There are many creative ways companies can give back to their community, such as: sponsoring a local fundraiser, creating a volunteer day, allowing for paid volunteering time, and signing up for events to volunteer as a company. We are also excited to volunteer at the Jacobs and Cushman Food Bank in 2021. With Pegasus being headquartered in San Diego, it is an honor to be a part of the creation of a better place to live and work, for the company and community.
